The film featured a virtual who's who ensemble cast including: Oscar winners: Vanessa Redgrave, Jane Fonda, Forest Whitaker, Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr, plus Terrence Howard and Music Legend turned Actor Lenny Kravitz.
The film marks Oprah's return to the big screen, after a 15 year hiatus. The OWNTV and World renown icon is considered by many to be an Oscar contender.
The Film's, Daniels, Oprah and Whitaker are all SAG nominees, however notably was a complete shutout in Golden Globes nominations. In addition Oprah and the Cast Ensemble received Critics Choice nominations.
