An Academy Interview Panel with The Butler's Director 'Lee Daniels' and cast members including Oprah Winfrey, Forest Whitaker and David Oyelowo.
The film featured a virtual who's who ensemble cast including: Oscar winners: Vanessa Redgrave, Jane Fonda, Forest Whitaker, Robin Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr, plus Terrence Howard and Music Legend turned Actor Lenny Kravitz.
The film marks Oprah's return to the big screen, after a 15 year hiatus. The
OWNTV and World renown icon is considered by many to be an Oscar contender.
The Film's, Daniels, Oprah and Whitaker are all
SAG nominees, however notably was a complete shutout in
Golden Globes nominations. In addition Oprah and the Cast Ensemble received

The film debuted in First Place its opening weekend at the box office in 2013 with $24.6 million and remained in the Top spot for 3 weeks running in the North American Box Office . Through the end of 2013 it had grossed $160+ million Worldwide ($116+ million Domestically)
